Housing Recovery Program
About the Program
The Housing Recovery Program is supported by $48.3 million in Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding to assist eligible Sarasota County homeowners impacted by Hurricane Ian in 2022 through repair, reconstruction, and reimbursement assistance.
Applications for the Housing Recovery Program are now closed. Resilient SRQ continues to work with participating homeowners as projects move through the recovery process toward completion. The program serves low- to moderate-income (LMI) residents who owned and occupied the damaged property at the time of the storm. Eligible properties include single-family homes with one to four units, as well as manufactured and mobile homes.
