About the Program

The Workforce Development and Training Program had CBDG-DR funding available for career training in construction trades that contribute to the well-being of the community following Hurricane Ian in 2022.

 

The program helps address labor shortages created by the pre-existing robust housing market and the increased demand for skilled workers needed for Hurricane Ian reconstruction and repair.
